Eloping in the White Mountains is relatively easy! All you need is to find a photographer, get your marriage license within 90 days of your elopement day, find an officiant, and obtain any permits necessary to elope at your chosen location.

New Hampshire Marriage License: To elope in the White Mountains, you will need to get a New Hampshire Marriage License at any City or Town Clerk in the state. You and your partner need to be present to complete the Marriage License Application. You will need to bring identification documents, such as a driver's license, passport, or certified birth certificate, and payment for the fee. Once everything is complete, you are good to go! When to Elope in the White Mountains
One of the best things about the White Mountains is you can elope in any season! It has endless mountain views and fun activities year-round.
Spring in the White Mountains is stunning once the snow melts and everything begins to bloom. Flowers take over the fields and valleys, bringing beautiful smells and bright colors. Spring is also the perfect time to elope if you want to say your vows next to a waterfall because after the snow melts, the waterfalls are gushing and beautiful! Winter can linger in the White Mountains, so it is important to pack layers and check recent trail reports if you will be hiking. Even though the spring brings warmer temperatures, the higher elevations will have lingering snow, so packing proper hiking gear is crucial.
Summer is easily one of the most beautiful times to elope in the White Mountains because the days are long and the weather is warm. The activities you can incorporate into your elopement are endless. You could spend the day hiking, swimming, boating, or enjoying the beautiful weather. Because the summer brings beautiful weather to the White Mountains, it brings crowds. Summer is one of the busiest times, so I recommend eloping on a weekday or during sunrise or sunset.
Fall is one of the most stunning seasons in the White Mountains because the weather is perfect, and the vibrant foliage paints the mountains and valleys in a way that will leave you breathless. One of the best parts about a fall elopement is you do not have to hike to get beautiful views. The foliage takes over everything in the White Mountains, so you will have beautiful colors surrounding you anywhere you elope. The fall foliage brings many people to the White Mountains, especially on weekends, so I recommend planning your White Mountains elopement on a weekday or during sunrise or sunset to avoid most crowds.
Winter is a beautiful time in the White Mountains if you do not mind cold weather or love the snow. The White Mountains are beautiful in the winter, with snow-capped mountains. Winter is also the perfect time to elope if you want to incorporate skiing, snowshoeing, or exploring ice castles! Winters in the White Mountains bring cold and snowy weather, so I always recommend packing plenty of layers. You can add a thick shawl or faux fur jacket to your wedding attire to keep you warm and look beautiful in photos.
