The farm features spacious outdoor areas ideal for ceremonies or cocktail hours, and a serene natural landscape that captures the essence of New Hampshire’s countryside. Especially the views of the White Mountains.

Does The Toad Hill Farm have an indoor option for ceremonies in case of inclement weather?

The Toad Hill Farm does offer a tented area for reception, which may be able to be used as a spot to host the ceremony under heavy rain occurrences. But for this, I would double confirm with the owners to make sure.

How many guests does The Toad Hill Farm allow?

The Toad Hill Farm allows up to 1,000 guests on the property. Which is the largest capacity I’ve ever seen in all my years of wedding photography haha! The Toad Hill Farm Main House is also able to accommodate up to 16 people sleeping there for the 5 days. This works great if you want to stay there with your bridal party for the weekend!

Is the Toad Hill Farm open year round for weddings?

The Toad Hill Farm opens on the first weekend of June and runs through mid October!

Do they offer a wedding coordinator?

There is no dedicated wedding coordinator, however they have many resources compiled for all their couples to use to get in touch with the vendors they need.

Additional offerings:

The Toad Hill Farm is unique in that they only offer a 5 day buyout package. You get to arrive at the property on Thursday and leave on Monday. This is extremely helpful when setting the tone for your wedding day. There is no rush to get there, there is no last minute setup craziness, and you get to spend quality time there with your loved ones with incredible mountain views.

The 5 days allows you to host a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, the wedding day and post wedding day brunch.

The Toad Hill Farm Wedding Day | Madison & Ben

Madison and Ben’s wedding took place on September 20th, at the breathtaking Toad Hill Farm in Franconia, New Hampshire. This early fall day couldn’t have been more perfect, warm mid-70’s weather and blue bird skies made for the dreamiest light. Toad Hill Farm is a truly special venue, surrounded by rolling hills, open fields, and panoramic views of the White Mountains. With its rustic barn, peaceful countryside setting, and timeless New England charm, it created the perfect backdrop for their celebration.

Getting Ready

I arrived towards the end of hair and makeup (which is my favorite time to start) to ease our way into the day. The girls had some music playing and were having a fun time. There were even some mimosas being passed around. There were some long time friendships here, so it felt very warm and connected in the room! The conversation and laughs continued for a couple of hours until it came down to the final touch, and the excitement for what was about to happen really elevated! Then the time had come for Madison and Ben’s wedding ceremony.

Ceremony

The chairs were all gathered in front of the Arbor, with a view of the White Mountains behind them. The florals and greenery were put together perfectly and tied together the vision Madison and Ben had for this moment. The ceremony was beautiful and their vows had each and every one of us crying. After the ceremony we organized some time for family and friend photos and after that some of my favorite moments of the day, the portrait session! Once we wrapped up with portraits there was nothing else to do besides to eat and dance, which we certainly did a lot of haha! All in all, this will always be a very special wedding in my memories. It was such a fun and beautiful wedding day.
