Chelsey and Ben | Acadia National Park Wedding Day
Chelsey and Ben had a blue bird sky Acadia National Park wedding day! Acadia National Park has always been a very special place to them, so having their wedding there was perfect. After working through some ideas, we came up with a perfect itinerary for their wedding day! A big part of what I offer is timeline development and location scouting. This takes the pressure off the couples to know where all the best spots are and how long should be spent there.
We started with getting ready photos for their Acadia National Park wedding at a cute AirBnb in the small town of Mount Desert. The AirBnb provided the perfect setting for us to start the day as it overlooked the ocean and had a beautiful grass yard surrounding the cabin.
We made our way to Schoodic Point, where Chelsey and Ben had their wedding ceremony! Schoodic Point is a gorgeous peninsula that sits right above Bar Harbor and has a large walkable waterfront area where there are endless smooth large rocks. The area was perfect as it provided enough space for the small group they had with them to witness their marriage.
Our next destination was Sand Beach, the first location you reach when traveling through Acadia National Park. Sand Beach is a wide set beach in between two large cliffs. And if you walk towards the end of Sand Beach, you will find an area that opens to a view of the mountains that are positioned behind the beach. This is a really magical place to include on the wedding day!
We continued for the rest of their wedding day taking portraits at various locations through Acadia National Park. Some of the special areas we visited were Gorham Mountain Trailhead and Little Hunters Beach. The beauty of having an Acadia National Park wedding is no matter where you choose to take photos, it is all incredibly beautiful.
