Franconia Notch Elopement, New Hampshire | Emma & Andrew

Emma and Andrew’s elopement took place in the beautiful Franconia Notch in New Hampshire. The elopement was right in the middle of Summer when the trees are still green and the days have long-lasting light! Franconia Notch State Park is a stunning area in New Hampshire, and it was the perfect place for Emma and Andrew’s elopement!

I arrived at the cabin they had rented in the morning, which overlooked Franconia Notch State Park and was stunning. Emma was having her hair and makeup finished, while Andrew was in the basement playing pool with friends. Getting ready seemed to take no time at all for the both of them, and before we knew it, they were all dressed, so we set up on the deck of the cabin for a first look. Andrew faced out towards Cannon Mountain as Emma glided up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. As he turned, his expression shifted to one of awe and shock as he couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. They embraced, kissed, and embraced again. It was an emotional couple of minutes in the best way possible.

We made our way to the ceremony location soon after, which was in a grassy field with a view of the White Mountains just behind. The ceremony was short and sweet as Emma and Andrew had planned to only read their vows to each other. They had their first kiss as a married couple, and we moved to the next stage of the day, which was the portrait session! We had a few hours for this, which was special because we had great spots in mind to explore.

We started in the field where they had their ceremony before making our way through the park. The park has little ponds, trails, and overlook areas, and we made sure to cover all of them! Then towards the end, we did a quick hike and took some portraits on the cliff overlooking the notch. We ended with a bang right as the sun was setting. Emma and Andrew brought up two cans of beer, and each shotgunned them at the same time to celebrate. It was amazing haha, and the perfect way to end their beautiful Franconia Notch elopement.
