Our Love Story

This is my first blog post, so give me a little slack haha. I would really like to aim for these posts to be as aligned with how I actually talk as possible. I think this will help you get a decent vibe for my personality.

So here we go… my love story.

Ahh, this is a little nerv-racking as it’s not something I typically talk about haha. This story is the story of how I met my soon to be wife.

It was the summer of 2015 and I was in high spirits as I LOVE the summertime. My days were filled with going to parties in the city with friends, listening to a lot of dubstep and sleeping in until 1pm. All was good and I was a happy beaver (I just like to use this expression, idk why haha). One of those mornings, something was different though. As I opened up my Facebook to do some scrolling per my routine in the morning, I had a friend request notification. I clicked on it expecting it to be some dude I probably met out at a party somewhere, but it was in fact NOT what I expected at all. The request was from This BEAUTIFUL girl named Nichole. I clicked through her her images and before I knew it I was as far back into her profile as I could go. She was a real person, not like that scam type of request I always seemed to get (You all know what I’m talking about haha).

Not only did she send a friend request, but she sent a message too. And that message read something like this: “Would you like to be friends and go to music festivals together”. Quicker than I could blink I was already hitting the send button on a reply to her question with the response of “YES PLEASE”. From there we started texting a bit and I took her to a Mexican restaurant to have our first date two weeks later. I remember watching her come out of her house (this was the first time I saw her in person) and thinking I was seeing an angel. She got into the car and I was blasted with the smell of an intoxicatingly arousing scent of her perfume. We went to the restaurant, each had a drink and talked for about 2 hours straight. It was an instant connection and comfortable feeling. We talked about just about everything, as far as I can remember.

And well, that was really all it took. About a month into me knowing her and seeing each other almost everyday, I told her I loved her and she said it right back. Nichole and I have been like peas and carrots ever since.

the end.
